APLS Thermal Guard Fights Hypothermia During Transport

"I recently started using APLS Thermal Guard when preparing patients for transport. I think this is an excellent and innovative product...it really makes sense. Keeping patients warm on the flights can be an issue. Having the Velcro slits up and down the sides of the patient for access is great. Keeping a patient warm, especially a post-surgical trauma patient, is vitally important to maintaining hemodynamics. Hypothermic coagulopathy can have devastating results for the patient and often times leads to death. This product saves lives and is easy to use."
