Workmanship

Developed by a team of military medical and absorbency experts, APLS products feature premium quality materials and careful craftsmanship.

Each APLS product is designed for strength, portability, patient comfort, and medical professionals' safety.

Material
Constructed with a highly absorbent cellulose core and a durable canvas that prevents liquids from leaking through the pad.

Handles
The reinforced handles provide easy gripping while transporting a patient, thus reducing the risk of further injuring the patient or caregiver.

Locker
The sealable pocket locker can hold patient documentation, medical notes and personal effects.

Straps
The heavy-duty straps ensure patient safety during transport. The straps can be adjusted to fit the size and orientation of the patient.

Binding
The perimeter binding provides additional strength while also serving as a barrier for any excess fluids that move through the cellulose core.

Access Points
Access points on APLS Thermal products feature heavy-duty Velcro that allows medical access without completely exposing patient to the outside elements.

APLS Thermal Guard Improves Patient Safety and Care

"APLS Thermal Guard is the best device for the prevention of hypothermia that I have seen on the battlefield. The absorbent and disposable litter accommodates any size patient, it insulates very well, it keeps the patient warm, and it wicks the blood and body fluid away from the patient. The upper access panels allow a medic to organize the patient's leads, cables, tubes and hoses for easy management. The additional access panels allow a medic to easily check on the patient's condition during flight, which is critical to patient care."
